These shoes get dirty really quick, but the color change is awesome! The color change is instant in the sun, but a slow fade back to white when removed from the sunlight. I would consider the color mauve, salmon, or pink before I called it red. Super comfortable fit. Keeps me on my feet comfortably for more than 8 hours at a time.
